Elizabeth Emma Dittmar Seibert, 89, a resident of Arnold since 1956 and formerly of Baltimore died on July 8, 2011 at Peartree House Assisted Living in Pasadena.

She was born April 2, 1922 in Baltimore to her parents, the late Bridget Delores Conaway Dittmar and John Frederick Dittmar, She graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1939. Past residences include in Baltimore, Brooklyn and Arnold.

Mrs. Seibert was married to Richard Seibert in 1950, until his death in September, 1989, after 39 years of marriage.

Mrs. Seibert was employed as a secretary for several companies and government agencies. She retired from Provident Savings Bank of Baltimore in 1984, after 24 years.

She enjoyed volunteer work, reading mysteries, and writing poems and limericks for her friends.

She was a member of the Lutheran faith.

She is survived by cousins and dear friends, Jim and Linda Perkins of Meridian, ID, The Semple Family of Rockville, MD and James (Scotty) and Barbara McBride of Bowie, MD.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 30 at 1:00 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. Interment will be private.
