Elizabeth Marsh
Elizabeth J. Marsh, 88, a resident of Pasadena for 55 years, died of complications from pneumonia Oct. 19 at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center after a brief illness.
Mrs. Marsh was born Aug. 25, 1919, and reared in Altoona, Pa., where she worked as a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital for five years. She then worked at what is now Harbor Hospital in south Baltimore for 10 years.
Her interests included sewing, reading, crossword puzzles and her family.
She was the widow of Eldin Marsh. Surviving are one son, Tim Marsh of Pasadena; four daughters, Patricia Cecil of Manchester in Carroll County, Vivian Armor of Crownsville, Karen Gunther of Riva and Joanne Furton of Millersville; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. A funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church, 1070 Cecil Ave., in Millersville. Burial is private.
