Elizabeth "Betty" Peach Lerian, 88, passed away on Monday September 19, 2016 in Severna Park, Maryland. She was born on October 7, 1927 to Frank Peach and Emma McDonell Peach. She grew up the 7th of eleven children at Linwood Estate in Ellicott City, Maryland. Along with her six sisters she attended Mount de Sales Academy for Girls in Catonsville, MD. In 1949 she married the love of her life George Jacob "Mo" Lerian. Together they raised their three children, Jake, Dan, and Liz in the community of Round Bay in Severna Park. Her love of life, her family, and her faith, was reflected in everything she did.

Betty was an active member of the community always putting others before herself. She volunteered at the summer reading program at Jones Elementary and helped start the Red Cross Swim Lesson at Round Bay Beach. Betty, or as many called her "Ms. Peach", was a talented cook known for her Irish stew. Even long after retirement she continued to put others first volunteering at the Providence Center, Meals on Wheels, and the "This and That Shop".

She was not only known for her big heart but her amazing spirit. She loved spending time with her family and friends- dancing and socializing. Her sparklingly blue eyes and contagious charm would light up the whole room. Even during her final days she continued to make others laugh and spread joy.

She is survived by her three children, George Jacob Lerian III, Daniel McCormick Lerian, and Mary Elizabeth Bradbury as well as her two daughters-in-law, Carol Gould and Christine Presnell and son- in -law John Craig Bradbury. She was also the loving grandmother to 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park, MD. Interment will be in Loudon Park Cemetery in Baltimore.
