Elizabeth Heise Honeywell of Annapolis passed away peacefully in her home on March 12, 2023 at the age of 81. She was born to Edward and Lois Heise in Annapolis and was a 1959 graduate of Annapolis High School. She attended the College of William & Mary and received her J.D. from Dickinson Law School in 1978. She became a partner at Venable and enjoyed a successful career as a litigator. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time at her beloved home, gardening, cooking and entertaining her family and friends. She enjoyed travel and volunteered for Literacy Volunteers.

She is survived by her former husband, James Honeywell, of Sonoma, California, her sisters, Harriet Nelson of Annapolis, Susan Howlett (Dick) of Davidsonville, Virginia Lodge (Richard) of Nashville, Tennessee, her sons, James Honeywell, Jr. (Sophie) of Severna Park and Tyler Honeywell of Portugal, her grandchildren, Elizabeth, James, Tyler, Carmen, Sallie, and Jane and many beloved nieces and nephews.
