IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Elizabeth "Betsy"
Ann Macey
January 3, 1980 – April 22, 2022
Elizabeth "Betsy" Ann Macey, 42, a loving mother, was a lifelong resident of the Arnold, Annapolis, and Severna Park areas. She tragically passed away in a car accident on April 22, 2022.
After high school Betsy became a dental apprentice. A little while later those plans came to a halt when she gave birth to her daughter, with whom she wanted to -and did- spend as much time as possible. Then she became a waitress. After, she became a caregiver which she loved so much; she was a caregiver at heart.
Betsy was a caring, loving, and selfless soul. She'd help anyone in need even when she needed help of her own. She absolutely loved taking pictures, reading James Patterson books, helping people, all types of music (although her favorite had to be classic rock, specifically Led Zeppelin), watching sunrises, good movies, football and hockey, getting out of the house, taking care of her dog, Buddy, and most of all, she loved being a mom, and she was the most loving mom any daughter could ask for.
Betsy was predeceased by her Mother Terry Lynn Machen, and her Grandmother Ethel A. Norfolk. She is survived by her daughter Kacey Lynn Simmons, and her father Teddy Allen Macey. More family include her little brother Jacob Macey, and her cousin Michael Macey. Her memorial arrangements were privately held amongst her family and friends.
