Eleanor Louise Mays
Eleanor "Miss Kitty" Louise Mays, Nee: Fisher, 86, a resident of Severna Park for 26 years, died of natural causes at her daughter's home on September 2, 2008.
Mrs. Mays was born on March 5, 1922 in Baltimore, MD, where she was also raised. She later lived in Dundalk, MD from 1950 – 1982 before moving to Severna Park.
Mrs. Mays worked as a machinist with Western Electric for over 35 years. She retired in 1982. She loved children and enjoyed being a babysitter to many Severna Park residents.
Mrs. Mays is survived by her daughter, Kathy Holmes of Severna Park, MD and 4 grandchildren.
Friends may visit at the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home on Thursday from 6-8 pm and on Friday from 11-12 noon. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon following the visitation. The interment will take place at Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
