Eleanor A. Johns, 89, a resident of Severna Park, died on March 13, 2011 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie.
She was born on February 24, 1922 in Baltimore, MD, where she was raised.
Mrs. Johns was a homemaker and a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Johns, who died on 1994; her daughter, Sandra Lucy; and her son, Wayne Johns.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Hessian of Pasadena, MD and Norma Shade (Robert) of Severna Park; brother, Gilbert Nadolny of Ocean City, MD; grandchild, Stacey Rinkus, Marc Hessian, Scott Shade and Bryan Hessian; and five great grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 from 4-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 AM on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 689 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146. Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Baltimore, MD.
