Eleanor Dorothy Borowski, 82, of Cape St. Claire, died of respiratory failure March 14 at her home after a long illness.
Mrs. Borowski was born March 7, 1923, and reared in Baltimore. In 1953 she married Leon Borowski. They lived in Dundalk from 1954 until 1964 when they built a home in Cape St. Claire.
She was a member of American Legion Post 175 Auxiliary and was past state president of the Society De Femmes. She enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting, bingo, children, shopping and donating to the needy.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are one daughter, Peggy Anne Graham of Annapolis; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Her son, Irvin J. Wolfe, died in 1991. She was the sister of the late Charles and Robert Pummery.
Visitation is from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where services will be at noon Friday. Burial will be in Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville. Online condolences may be made to www. barrancofuneralhome.com.
