Eileen Diller
Eileen Mullen Diller, 51, of Severna Park, died of a brain aneurysm Nov. 23 at home.
Born Aug. 9, 1955, in San Diego, Mrs. Diller was attending Anne Arundel Community College, studying business management.
She began her career in retail at the former Woodward and Lothrop department store in Washington, D.C., as an assistant buyer, and later worked at the former Hecht Co. Her positions ranged from human relations to most recently managing the fulfillment division for the internet bridal Web site.
She regularly volunteered with several nonprofits including the American Cancer Society, Rachel's House and Partners In Care, where she recently became a full time employee, managing the organization's eBay consignment site, advertising and retail boutique.
Surviving are her husband, Richard A. Diller; one daughter, Mary Beth Banister of Severna Park; two sisters, Maura Stevens of South Hadley, Mass., and Kate Ieradi of Wilbraham, Mass.; and one brother, Jack Mullen of Virginia Beach, Va.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, 611 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd. in Severna Park. Burial is private. Arrangements are by the Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.
