Effie Delores Faucette of Severna Park, MD passed away suddenly on November 30, 2012. She was the oldest child of William and Frances Buckman.

She met and married Hugh E. Faucette in 1947 and moved to Ferndale, MD where they raised eight children. Effie worked for the State of Maryland where she eventually retired.

She was predeceased by her husband Hugh E. Faucette, son Louis Faucette and her grandson Joshua Faucette.

She is survived by her seven children, Linda Flora, Judy Russell, Karen Mavis, Bonnie Faucette Hughes, Hugh Faucette, Jr., Phyllis Gosnell and Cathy Rounds. Five Grandchildren Robby Cox, Stacey Deters, Chris Cox, Charlie Kopp and Jennifer Charnesky, five Great Grandchildren, Ryan, Logan, Jesse, Jessica and Elsa and One Great Great Grandson Ryder Deters.

Friends may visit on Monday December 3, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8:00pm at the Barranco & Sons,P.A Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie Highway Severna Park, MD 21146. Services will be held on Tuesday December 4, 2012 at 11:00am in the Barranco and Sons Funeral Home chapel. Interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
