Edwin C. Polk, 63, passed away at his home on October 30, 2014. Ed was the owner and manager of Dawson's Liquors since 1985 and a resident of Severna Park since 1972. Born in Palo Alto, California, he was the son of the late Jack and Carol Polk. Moving overseas at a young age he lived in Germany, Holland, Turkey and Australia. Ed loved to travel and had a passion for biking. He was a long time member of the Annapolis Striders and a sponsor of the Dawson's Father's Day 5K. He is survived by his best friend and beloved wife of 31 years JoAnn. Also surviving are his brother Peter Polk of Annapolis, MD and Jeff Polk of Conifer, CO, a host of loving nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Ed's life will be held on Tuesday, November 4th, 2014 from 2-4pm and 7-9:00pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park, MD 21146
