Edward Louis Vogelman, Jr., 92, a resident of Severna Park, died peacefully on July 7 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie.
He was born on March 23, 1919 in Baltimore, where he was raised, and graduated from Southern High School and attended Johns Hopkins University. Mr. Vogelman was employed as a Purser for the Chesapeake Ferry System and supervised the Food Stamp Plan in Baltimore City. He enjoyed music, politics, and visiting friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Diane Bennett (Stephen) of Crofton; his son, Ted (Sandy) Vogelman of Spokane; and granddaughters, Joan and Stacey Bennett of Crofton and Sarah and Emma Vogelman of Spokane.
Services will be private. Interment in MD Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD.
