Eduardus Antonius van Rossum, 54, of Millersville, died of cancer Sept. 3 at his home after a lengthy illness.
Born Jan. 30, 1952, in Boxtel, The Netherlands, Mr. van Rossum emigrated to Canada and then to Maryland. His past residences included Columbia and Catonsville; Exton, Pa.; Birmingham, Mich.; Toronto, Canada; Rochester Hills, Mich.; and Millersville. He attended Pennsylvania State University and the University of Baltimore.
Mr. van Rossum was a regional manager for CCP Commercial Cleaning Industries.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church in Millersville and enjoyed golf, railroad trains and coaching the Green Hornets.
Surviving are his wife, Dawn Marie van Rossum; one son, Chobie Antonius van Rossum; his mother, Gerda van Rossum; two sisters, Elly Lara and Marge Sraver; and three brothers, Karel, Marcel and Alexander van Rossum.
He was the son of the late Pierre L. van Rossum and the brother of the late Maarten van Rossum and Sabina Peters.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today and tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. A Mass of Christian burial will be said at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church, 1070 Cecil Ave., Millersville. Burial will be in Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge.
