Edna M. Bennett, 100, a resident of Annapolis, died on December 29, 2010 at her home.
She was born on August 14, 1910 in Brooklyn New York, was raised in New York, and moved in 1977 to the Anne Arundel County area.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Sylvester Bennett and her son, Richard S. Bennett.
She is survived by her daughter in-law, Ann Bennett of Arnold; her grandchildren, Steven Bennett of Arnold, Bruce Bennett (Tonya) of Raleigh, NC and Susan Buechling (John) of Arnold; and her great grandchildren, Danielle Bennett, Brandon Bennett, Alex Buechling, and Justin Cragemiles.
Family and friends may visit on Sunday, January 2, 2011 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Annapolis, MD.
