IN LOVING MEMORY OF
E. Lois
Green
June 10, 1933 – February 11, 2017
GREEN, Edith Lois, 84 a resident of Arnold, MD, passed away on February 11, 2017.
Lois was a devoted and faithful woman who's heart was full of love because she put others first and gave willingly of herself to family, friends, members of Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church and those in need. Lois was a passionate mother, grandmother and Registered Nurse. She always knew how to put a smile on someone's face because her own smile and laugh were so endearing. Another of her passions was attending "Long Family" reunions every other year since about 1980. In her leisure she enjoyed hosting friends and family, sewing, a good game of cards, and most of all cooking for her loved ones. A native of Kansas City, MO., she has resided in Maryland since 1969. Lois was the daughter of the late Nolan Pierce Long and late Mary Alma Long of Kansas City and proceeded in death by her brother Ray Long. She is survived by husband James Green, brother Harold Long, daughter Carol Doering, son Nick Green, six grandchildren, two nephews, four nieces, and a great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Maryland.
