Dorothy Wheelton, 90, a resident of Arnold, died on February 21, 2014 at her home.

She was born on July 24, 1923 in Baltimore, and moved to Riviera Beach in 1954, before residing in Arnold in 1975.

Dorothy was an elevator operator for First National Bank prior to her marriage in 1948.

She enjoyed plants, gardening, arts and crafts, collecting dolls, and volunteering at the Arnold Senior Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Wheeler.
Dorothy is survived by four brothers and one sister.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Baltimore.
