Dorothy Ruby Majerowicz, 92, a resident of Arnold, passed away March 11, 2018, at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie.

She was born on June 12, 1925 to Bernard and Dorothy Sasada in Biloxi, Mississippi, and raised in Arnold and Baltimore.

Dorothy worked as a Deli Manager for Safeway and also worked with Disabled American Veterans (DAV). She was a member of the American Legion and the Earleigh Heights Ladies Auxiliary.

She enjoyed sewing, boating, crabbing, fishing, swimming, music, and playing card games with friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Martin (Timothy) of Severna Park and her son, David Majerowicz of Arnold; five grandchildren, Amy Meeks of Pasadena, Mandy Dorsey of Millersville, Joshua Majerowicz of Warrenton, VA, Matthew Majerowicz of Annapolis, and Sarah Majerowicz of Annapolis; and six great grandchildren, Cooper Meeks, Addison Meeks, Aven Dorsey, Ashton Dorsey, Lanah Dorsey, and Baby Majerowicz.

Family and friends may visit on Monday, March 19, 2018 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, in Severna Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 10:00 AM in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146. Interment will follow in MD Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
