Dorothy Glover, "Dot," was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts and resided in South Carolina and Maryland. She was retired from the C&P Telephone Company.

Dot was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edward Glover Sr., who died in 1994. Dot is survived by her five children and their spouses: Thomas and Linda Glover Jr., Richard and Sherrie Glover, James and Catherine Glover, Timothy and Mary Jo Glover, and Mary Helen and Phillip Hicks. She enjoyed sharing her life with her nine grandchildren: Rebecca, Tommy, Rick, Shannon, Billy, Kasie, Lauren, Allison, and Kelsie. She was also blessed with nine great grandchildren: Andrew, Meredith, Thomas, Emma, Ricky, Sarah, Jen, Sammi, and Drake.

She will be remembered for her devotion to her family and friends, her numerous artistic abilities, and for her larger than life, ever loving spirit.

Family and friends are invited to her daughter's home on Saturday, July 30th from 4:00 – 7:00 pm to share their loving memories.
A chapel service will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 1:45pm at the Maryland Veteran Cemetery in Crownsville, 1122 Sunrise Beach Rd, Crownsville, MD 21032.
