Dorothy R. Arrington, 84, a resident of Myrtle Beach, SC died on January 10, 2011 at National HealthCare Center in South Carolina.
She was born June 29, 1926 in Baltimore, MD.
Dorothy was employed as a telephone operator. She enjoyed bowling at Severna Park Lanes, reading, eating, cooking, going out to dinner, playing cards, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Cat Glover of Myrtle Beach, SC and her son, James T. Arrington of Baltimore; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, as well as, her extended family, adopted by her heart.
Family and friends may visit on Friday, January 14, 2011 from 10:00 AM -12:00 PM at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park.
A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 12 noon.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 200 East Joppa Road, Suite 407, Towson, MD 21286.
