Doris Herborg Olesen, 64, of Severna Park, died of natural causes Nov. 5 at home.
Mrs. Olesen was born March 30, 1940, and reared in Skjern, Denmark. She graduated from Anne Arundel Community College in 1975 and had been living in the county for 35 years.
She worked for the Maryland Department of Revenue prior to 1975 and for Structural Steel Fabricators as comptroller from 1975 to 1985. Subsequently, she retired from Magnolia Plumbing in 2002 after 17 years as comptroller.
A member of Beta Sigma Phi, Beta Gamma Chapter since 1971, she enjoyed travel, puzzles, games and dining with retired friends.
She was the sister of the late Freddie Olesen.
Surviving are three daughters, Terri Olesen Stewart of Severna Park, Kimberlie Kerfoot of Crownsville and Lisa Kerfoot of Anchorage, Alaska; four siblings, Jens, Torben, Lars and Anne Marie Olesen, all of Denmark; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, 400 Benfield Road in Severna Park. Burial is private. Arrangements are by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.
