Doris E. Gubert, 87, of Severna Park, died from complications of lung disease Nov. 16 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie after a brief illness.

Mrs. Gubert was born April 14, 1918, and reared in Baltimore. She retired from the Motor Vechicle Administration in 1975.

She was a life member of the Severn Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a former member of the Ladies of the Elks of Glen Burnie. Her interests included traveling, dancing and reading.

Surviving are her husband, Herbert C. Gubert, whom she married Dec. 23, 1939; one sister, Eileen Schlein of Annapolis; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow and 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where a funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
