Doris Eileen Garrison Gibbs, age 71, passed away Friday, April 24, 2015. Her final days were spent at home surrounded by family.  Doris was born in San Antonio, Texas, to the late John Elijah and Elenora Goetz Garrison on August 13, 1943.

Doris worked many years as a system administrator at Volkswagen of America until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling, interior decorating and her animals.  Doris cherished every moment with her grandchildren always ending conversations with them saying "I Love You More".  She had a way of making everyone she met feel a little more special.

Doris is survived by her husband, Dennis Edward Gibbs, of Millersville, and two sons, Scott Anson and wife Camela Gibbs of Oxford, MD, Shawn Aaron and wife Rosemarie Gibbs of Riva, MD; six grandchildren, Shawn Andrew and Joseph Alexander Gibbs, Christopher Teach and Finn Edward Gibbs, John Christian Jr. and William Sutton Mott and many nieces and nephews.

Doris was the last of her siblings having been predeceased by one brother, three sisters and her parents.

Family and friends are welcomed for a memorial service on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 2:00pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home.
