Doris Stovold Corddry, 84, of Annapolis died of complications from aspiration pneumonia Jan. 9 at La Casa in Heritage Harbour after a brief illness.

Mrs. Corddry was born May 13, 1923, in Falmouth-Foreside, Maine, and was raised in Braintree, Mass. She lived in Cohasset, Mass. for 18 years before moving to Annapolis, and graduated from Boston University with a degree in math and music.

She was a member of the American Guild of Organists and the Women of St. Martin's in the Field Episcopal Church.

A homemaker, she loved her family, her music and her church. She was active in her church choir and directed the bell choir.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, William H. Corddry; two sons, Thomas Corddry of Seattle, Wash., and Dr. David Corddry of Annapolis; two daughters, Jane Langill of Seattle, Wash., and Ann Corddry of Denman Island, British Columbia in Canada; two brothers, William Stovold of Weymouth, Mass. and Gordon Stovold of Venice, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A memorial visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Martin's in the Field Episcopal Church, 375 Benfield Road in Severna Park. Interment will follow in St. Martin's in the Field Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to St. Martin's in the Field Organ Fund, 375 Benfield Road, Severna Park, MD 21146.
