Donny Lee Barber passed away on Monday May 24, 2021 at his home in Lutherville/Timonium. Donny was born on August 24, 1965 at the Bethesda Naval Medical Center.  He was a 1983 graduate of Severna Park Senior High where he played baseball. A lifelong Orioles and Redskins fan, Donny was always up for taking in a game at Camden Yards or FedEx Field. An avid cook, Donny was capable of preparing a gourmet meal from any odds and ends found in his, or anyone else's, refrigerator. Donny served his country with courage for four years in the United States Navy during the first gulf war. He leaves behind his mother Jean Ann Barber of Severna Park, his wife Chunli Huang Barber of Timonium, a son Joseph Lee Barber, a daughter Bethany Barber, both of Glen Burnie, a stepson Zichen Zhang of Timonium, a sister Lisa Ann Dorrell of Centreville, a twin brother Billy D. Barber (Kimberly) of Westminster, as well as many nieces and nephews. Donny was preceded in death by his son Lee Joseph Barber, his father Morris Lee Barber, and brothers John Edward Burkey and Michael E. Burkey.
