Donald Anthony Ventrudo passed away on February 9, 2018 at the age of 69. Don was born on July 5, 1948 in Staten Island, NY, son of Giovanna and Gaetano Ventrudo.  He was the beloved husband of Anna Ventrudo for 46 years and the loving Father of Melissa Richards, Donna Guzman and her husband Guery and Michael Ventrudo and his wife Katie. He was the extremely proud grandfather (Grampy) of his six beautiful granddaughters, Kassandra, Lucy, Juliana, Gabriela, Angelina and Mia.  He is survived by his brother Thomas Ventrudo, sister in-law Margaret Ventrudo and brother in-law Joesph Karasinski.  As well as three nephews and a niece.

Don was an intelligent man who had an answer and solution for everything.  He graduated from the University of the City of New York, now part of the State University of New York.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Minor in Engineering.  He worked his way through college as a post man for the Staten Island Post Office.  He spent many years working as the controller for Coca Cola, and with some of his fondest memories working at Ritz Camera with his son Michael.  He loved taking photographs and working with computers.

Don was a proud Italian and a strong family man.  He loved to spend as much time with his family as possible.  Whether attending school events, birthdays, holidays or the many impromptu gatherings in the kitchen eating, talking and dancing.  He was the rock of the family whom everyone counted on for advice and support.

Family members and friends will honor Don's life with a viewing from 3pm-5pm & 7pm-9pm on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146. The funeral Mass will be held on February 15, 2018 at 10am in Our Lady of the Fields Roman Catholic Church, 1070 Cecil Avenue South, Millersville, MD 21108. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
