Donald Lee Myers passed away on August 9, 2022 in Severna Park, Maryland.

Don was born in Baltimore, MD to Edgar and Mary Myers on July 4 and he was raised in his early years in Virginia until moving to the Washington DC area during his High School and College years. Don graduated from the University of Maryland in 1952 with a degree in Civil Engineering. After serving in the Air Force, Don went to work in management with the C&P Telephone Company and spent his entire career with the phone company and ultimately retired as Sr. Manager of Operations for Bell Atlantic/Verizon raising his large family in Severna Park, MD.

Don enjoyed a long and exciting retirement traveling around the world and he was an avid golfer as a long time member and past president of the Chartwell Golf and Country club. He also loved the University of Maryland athletics especially Maryland Basketball (Go Terps).

Don was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 50 years Elizabeth Myers and also his sister Patricia Jones and granddaughter Lauren (Dowling) Tyler.

He is survived by; his daughter Linda Dowling and her husband Steve, his sons Douglas Myers and his wife Patty, Craig Myers and his wife Karen, Brad Myers and his wife Angela and Alan Myers and his wife Mary Lou. Also his grandkids; Melissa, Steve, Rebecca, Riley, Tyler, Danielle, Melinda and Jack and great grandchildren; Luke, Sarah, Ashlyn, Kaelyn, Riley and Lincoln.
