Donald J. Graczyk passed away June 27, 2022 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Maryland. Don was born July 14, 1943 in Buffalo, New York. He spent his childhood in Buffalo, but joined the Marines when he was just 17 years old. While serving in the Marines,Don was stationed at Ft. Meade in Maryland. It was then, that he met the love of his life, Rita. The two chose to begin their lives together and were married on October 15, 1966. Don and Rita resided in the Baltimore area for several years but in the early 1970's bought a home in Arnold, Md. It was where they would raise their two sons Bill and Tony. Don was still living in the family home, until his health failed several weeks ago.

Don served in the United States Marines from 1962-1966 and then began his career as a Steam Fitter. He worked in the industry until his retirement in 2000. He worked hard to provide for his family and took pride in caring for them and his home. Although he spent many years in Maryland, he always remained a Buffalo Bills fan. Don enjoyed getting together with friends and family in his younger years, but as he aged came to enjoy the simplicity of spending much of his time with Rita. The two were inseparable, until Rita's death in 2018.

Don is preceded in death by his parents Bolesalus and Viola Graczyk, his brothers Robert and Stephen, his sister Sharon Pawlowski, sister in-law Rita Graczyk and his beloved wife Rita Graczyk. Don is survived by his sons Bill (Cassie) Graczyk and Tony (Katie) Graczyk, Eight grandchildren Jordan (Sean) Fitzgerald, Madison Graczyk, Brody Graczyk, Ty Graczyk, Jace Graczyk, Kara Graczyk, Naomi Graczyk, and Molly Graczyk. He is also survived by his sister Carol Karczewski, brother in-laws Joseph Karczewski and Louis Pawlowski and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday July 7, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A. 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146.
