Dolores M. "Ama" Redington, 64, of Boca Raton, Fla., and Baltimore, Md., and a past resident of Severna Park, died of lung cancer Oct. 20 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore after a two-year illness.

Mrs. Redington was born July 21, 1942, in San Diego, Calif., where she was reared. She was also a past resident of Virginia Beach, Va., Staten Island, N.Y., and Stamford, Conn.

She was a homemaker and member of the Chartwell Country Club, Sparrows Point Country Club and the Boca Raton Resort and Club.

Her interests included golf, reading, boating and interior design.

Surviving are her husband, Joseph J. Redington III; one daughter, Denise Redington Morss of Boca Raton, Fla.; one son, Joseph J. Redington of New York, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today and tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, and from 9 to 10 a.m. on Oct. 28 at Babione Funeral Home in Boca Raton. A funeral mass will be held at 12 noon on Oct. 28 at St. Lucy's Catholic Church in Highland Beach, Fla. Burial will follow in Boca Raton Mausoleum and Cemetery.
