Dolores R. Potocki (Kraus), 80, a 54 year resident of Severna Park, died at her home on July 27, 2011 from complications of Parkinson's Disease.

She was born on May 8, 1931 in Baltimore and graduated from Glen Burnie High School. She worked as a Special Education Teacher's Aide for over 30 years for Anne Arundel County Schools.

Dolores was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thaddeus William Potocki, who died on October 9, 2010; her parents, Regina and Frederick Kraus; daughter, Shari Orbany; and brother, Ronald Kraus.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen West- Dunn of Stevensville, Cindy Smith of Cambridge, and Patricia Orbany of Glen Burnie; stepson, Alan Potocki of South Carolina; step daughters, Janine Santmyer of Eldersburg and Lisa Brown of Ellicott City; sister, Joan Oldewurtel of Baltimore; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, July 29, 2011 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 9:30 am at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie.
