Dolores "Dee" Evans, age 91, passed away peacefully on January 19th, 2021 of natural causes. She was born on August 23, 1929. Dolores was a long time resident of Glen Burnie and more recently resided at Sunrise of Severna Park.

Dolores was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and treasured these roles in her life first and foremost as one of her greatest joys. She had a passion for showing unconditional love to her family and was always very proud of their accomplishments, no matter how big or small.

Her loving, patient, honest and caring personality will be deeply missed.

She worked as a lab technician at Johns Hopkins Bayview in Baltimore for many years where she formed special long time friendships. During her retirement, she loved to take day trips to Ocean City.  She would sit on the beach, walk along the boardwalk, window shop, and enjoy funnel cakes.

Dolores was very creative and spent time doing many types of crafts such as painting, making beaded jewelry, and sewing. With her big heart, she would then share these projects as gifts to those around her. She also took great pride in taking care of her garden. She would spend hours digging, watering and nurturing the plants. Cooking everyday meals for herself and others also brought her joy.

Christmas was always her favorite holiday. She would spread cheer to everyone she could throughout the holiday season and leave her decorated tree up for several months past December. In the summer, she loved to enjoy crabs with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia "Trish" Onal (Korky) of Severna Park; son, William "Mike" Evans (Darlene) of Baltimore; as well as her five grandchildren; Nicole D'Ascoli, Dilara Ledden, Lauren Evans, Scott Evans and Kelsey Onal, and five great-grand children; Ava, Kensie, Cole, Bryce and Georgia.

Due to Covid restrictions, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Sunrise of Severna Park for the love and care they gave her over the years.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woodswise Neighborly Care Fund and mailed to:

Woods Memorial Church, 611 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd, Severna Park, MD 21146
