Diane K. Masden, 75, of Severna Park, Maryland passed away on August 26, 2018 at her home.

She was born July 2, 1943 to her parents, Herman and Helen Carmien, in Urbana, Illinois. She was raised in Dewey, Illinois with her 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Diane worked in the Civil Service for the Federal Government and met her husband Perry while living in Germany. She loved reading, golfing, family, and was always active. She also enjoyed walking and exercise.

Diane is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Perry L. Masden of Severna Park, MD; her son Derek Masden and his family of Annapolis MD; her brother Dale Carmien in Illinois, her sister, Carol Roberts in Illinois;  sister Linda Arr in South Carolina; extended family in Louisiana and Texas and beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Dean Carmien of Illinois.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 6-8pm at Barranco and Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146.

A funeral service and burial will be held in Rantoul, IL on Monday, September 3, 2018. The funeral service will be held at American Lutheran Church, 500 Church Dr, Rantoul, IL 61866. The burial will be at Eden Park Cemetery in Rantoul, IL.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in her name.
