Elsie Diane (Hoyle) Henry, 75, of Severna Park, Maryland, died at home on Sunday, November 28, 2021. She was beloved by her family and will be sorely missed. Born in Cumberland, Maryland, she was the daughter of Clarence "Huck" Hoyle and Rosa Lee (Grove) Harvey. Surviving are her three children, Rebecca Sharp and husband Jeff of Westminster, Maryland, Laura Spann and husband Matt of Lebanon, New Jersey, and Steven Henry and wife Jennifer of Bowie, Maryland; twin brother, Dan Hoyle, and wife Bonnie; niece, Amy Bosley; nephew, Mark Hoyle; and aunt, Shirley Nolan. Diane adored her seven grandchildren: Vivienne and Wyatt Sharp, Rosa, Margaret, and Elizabeth Spann, and Ethan and Emily Henry. She will also be missed by her dear friends, with whom she shared many happy memories. Diane worked for the Maryland Judiciary and upon her retirement in 2014 was awarded a Governor's Citation from Governor Hogan in recognition of her 32 years of service to the State. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, drinking piping hot black coffee, doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles, needlework and sewing, playing cards, and reading. She loved animals of all kinds, especially her cats.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, December 10, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146.

A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
