IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Diane M.
Fox
October 11, 1940 – September 24, 2025
Diane M. Fox, age 84, passed away peacefully in her home on September 24, 2025, after a 3 1/2-year struggle with Alzheimer's. Diane was born on October 11, 1940, in Baltimore, Maryland to James and Nina Lorber. She grew up in Baltimore and attended Saint Katherine's Elementary School and The Catholic High School of Baltimore. At the age of 15, Diane met the love of her life, Richard Fox (Dick), at a church dance. They married in 1964 and over the next 35 years they followed Dick's career moving 12 times along the east coast of the United States. Diane spent the majority of her life maintaining a household for her husband and four children. She conquered the difficulties and customs of many cities and towns, always adjusting for the betterment of her family. In 1997 they concluded their corporate, nomadic life and finally settled in the Annapolis area at which time they began to experience the wonders of the world on many adventures to Hawaii, Europe, New Zealand and Australia, and many other international destinations. They also spent 30 years sailing with the Annapolis Yacht Club cruising fleet going as far north as Massachusetts and south to Florida and many, many cruises along the Chesapeake Bay. Diane was always an incredibly faithful person and was deeply involved in her church no matter where she lived, devoting her time to singing in the choir, serving as a Eucharistic Minister, visiting the sick in their homes, teaching religious education, and participating in women's Bible studies. She especially loved singing, dancing and she found so much happiness spending time with and loving her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Diane is proceeded in death by her parents, five siblings, and her son, Robert. She is survived by her husband, Dick, her daughter, Michele Yoviene (Tom), her son, Steven Fox, daughter, Kimberly Fox, and four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
