Diana Lea Conklin Baker, 55, of Severna Park, died of heart failure May 8 at North Arundel Hospital.
Born Sept. 12, 1949, in Washington, D.C., Mrs. Baker was part of a military family and raised in various places. She resided in Severna Park for more than 40 years.
She worked in the forensic crime lab division of the Anne Arundel County Police Department.
Mrs. Baker was a member of Severna Park United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening, cooking and reading.
Surviving are three brothers, Robert W. Conklin of Parsonsburg in Wicomico County, Fred C. Conklin of Pasadena and Michael A. Conklin of Arbutus.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the American Heart Association, Memorial Processing Center, P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058.
