Dennis Gerald Judy, 79, of Annapolis, died on November 17, 2011 after a lengthy hard fought illness.
He was born on April 26, 1932 in Cornstalk, WVA. He was raised in Crownsville, MD, and graduated from Arundel High School. He had resided in Cape St. Claire since 1966, in a house that he built.
He served his country in the Army during the Korean War in the 49 Field Artillery Regiment assigned to the 7th Infantry.
He was employed his entire career as an office supply retailer and repairman of Arundel Office Equipment.
He was a long time Men's Metro Bowling League member at Bowl America. He enjoyed golf, woodworking and gardening.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Pearl and Ada Judy and his brothers, Donald Judy and Charles Judy.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jean A. Judy; his children, Karen L. Mazzuchelli of Arnold, and Claire L. Minton of Millersville; one sister, Kathleen Dull of Millsboro, DE; and four grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from 10:00 to 11:30am with a service to follow at 11:30am in the Barranco & Sons, P.A Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie Highway Severna Park, MD 21146. Interment in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery Crownsville, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cape St. Claire United Methodist Church.
