Nevin Dennis Doane passed away on April 3, 2025, in Port Charlotte, FL.

He was born on May 21, 1957, to Bernard Tiffany and Eileen Adele Doane, in Washington, D.C.

Dennis was a resident of Punta Gorda, FL and previously resided in Roanoke, VA, Lake Anna, VA and Millersville, MD.

Dennis graduated from Lynchburg College in 1980 with a BA in Science and Business. He worked as an electrical manufacturer representative for "B.T. Doane & Sons" and for "Davidson, Doane and Kempner" from 1980-2010.

Dennis loved classic cars, music, fishing and The Washington Redskins. He also enjoyed taking friends and family boating and water skiing at Lake Anna, VA. He enjoyed cheering both Brian and Katherine on at their youth sporting events.

He is survived by his son, Brian Doane; brothers, Danny (Jackie) Doane; John (Barbara) Doane; sister, Margaret Doane; four beautiful nieces; many great-nieces and great-nephews; son-in-law, Matthew Mueller, and numerous other friends and relatives.

Dennis had two marriages. He was married to Robin Holck-Doane-Sells (from 1984-2004) and was blessed with two wonderful children, Brian Austin Doane and Katherine Elizabeth Doane-Mueller. The couple divorced and remained friendly. Dennis later married to Mary Lester Doane (from 2005-2017) and is survived by stepson, Brenton. The couple divorced and all remained friendly.

Dennis was predeceased by his loving parents Bernard Tifffany and Eileen Adele Doane; and his beautiful daughter Katherine Elizabeth Doane-Mueller.
