Dennis R. Dibos, 82, of Severna Park, MD, passed on January 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Dennis graduated from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing in 1963. After Navy Officer Candidate School, Dennis served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Reserves from 1964 – 1967 where he earned a National Defense Medal and was an Officer of Ceremonies at Pearl Harbor, HI. It was while he was stationed in Hawaii that he met the love of his life, Janet. They married at Pearl Harbor in 1967 and moved to Maryland in 1975. Dennis worked for Motorola, Inc. for 36 years and retired in 2003. Among his highlights at Motorola, he served as Vice President and General Manager of the US Federal Government Markets Division. He enjoyed golfing, attending Navy football games, and was a talented watercolorist.

Dennis is predeceased by his father, Jerome Dibos and mother, Edna Bach Dibos. He is survived by his wife, Janet Kehl Dibos, Son, Gregory Dibos, his wife Amy, and their daughter Koa, Daughter, Emily Gilleland, her husband Terry, and their daughter Michelle. He is also survived by his sister, Delores Fischer, of Illinois.

A celebration of life will be held at Chartwell Golf and Country Club, where Dennis was an active member for 49 years, on Sunday, February 16th from 1 to 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Chartwell Foundation in his memory. https://chartwellfoundation.org/
