Donn (Delmer Sylvester) Behringer, 82, a resident of Severna Park, died on May 8, 2010 at home, due to a lengthy illness.

He was born July 14, 1927 in Erie, PA, and raised in Severna Park.

Mr. Behringer served in the U.S. Marines during WWII and worked as an electrician for an Industrial Sign company.

He enjoyed swimming and reading.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Vera Joanne Behringer of Severna Park; four daughters, Roxanne Behringer of Harpers Ferry, WV, Diane Murphy of Stevensville, Pat Behringer of Annapolis, and Laura Kinnish of Ridgely; three sons, Rick Behringer of Millersville, David Behringer of Pasadena, and Del Behringer of Glen Burnie; fourteen grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, May 13, 2010 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Gov. Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. Interment and services will be private.
