Deborah Jean Nichols (Colleran), 61 of Severna Park, Maryland died suddenly of a heart attack on Monday, October 15, 2018. Deborah was born on August 18, 1957 in Baltimore and has resided in Severna Park. She is survived by her husband, Robert F. Nichols, Jr.; two of her three children, Megan (Nichols) Creel and her husband Jesse Creel of Pasadena, and Brian Nichols and his wife Alexandra (Mavris) Nichols of Severna Park; three grandchildren, Cali Creel, Charlie Creel, and Tucker Nichols; one grandchild expected in December of 2018; one sister Kathleen Colleran and her late husband Chuck Nossick of Severna Park. Deborah is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Catherine Colleran; and one son, Kevin Nichols.

Deborah was first and foremost a wife to her husband, a mother to her children, and a Mommom to her grandchildren. She provided childcare to many children in the Chartridge community over the years. She also owned her own small business cleaning new construction homes. Deborah attended St. John the Evangelist School, Archbishop Spalding High School, and graduated from Severna Park High School. She furthered her education at Anne Arundel Community College. Deborah loved spending time in the sun at the beach in Ocean City and at her community pool. Most recently, her focus was spoiling her grandchildren with love.

Family and friends may visit on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm at the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 1pm in Our Lady of the Fields Roman Catholic Church, 1070 Cecil Ave., Millersville, 21108. Interment will be held privately in the church columbarium at a later date.
