David "Dave" Saveleski, Sr. of Annapolis, MD, passed away on July 28, 2022. He was born on April 10, 1947 to John and Margaret Saveleski in Cumberland, MD. He attended LaSalle High School in Cumberland and worked for the Baltimore Refuse Energy Systems Company (RESCO). He retired from RESCO as a supervisor. Dave was a veteran of the US Air Force and enjoyed camping, hiking and being a part of nature.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Kathy Saveleski; his son David Saveleski Jr., his brother Jack Saveleski; and his son-in-law Michael Calhoon. Dave is survived by his children, Michael (Yvonne) Saveleski of Annapolis, MD, Christina (Chris) Calhoon Powell of Yorktown, VA; his sister Jean (John) Heckman of Johnstown, PA.; his brother Robert (Donna) Saveleski of Cumberland, MD; his sister-in-law Lois (Phill) Saveleski Hoke of Annapolis, MD; his many adoring grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 12:00-2:00pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD, 21146. Burial is to follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at https://act.alz.org
