David was born on March 7, 1987 in Tucson, AZ. As a child, he attended Broadneck Elementary. In middle school, David attended St. Mary's in Annapolis, MD and then graduated from Archbishop Spalding High School in 2005.

David excelled in athletics, especially lacrosse and wrestling. He loved to snowboard and jet ski. He was known to all as a kind and thoughtful person, always willing to help others. He will be remembered as a true teammate, loving son and brother, and a friend to many. He was always ready for debate and discussion and was a quick wit. He was a well-known lifeguard at Annapolis Area Pools.

David is survived by his parents, Michael and Jennifer Murnane; his sister, Erin; grandmothers, Elizabeth Murnane and Nancy Trem; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends may visit at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 am on Monday at St. John Neumann Church in Annapolis, MD.
