Major (Retired) David A Brain Sr., of Millersville MD passed away on Monday August 9, 2021. He was 76 years young.

Dave was born on September 20, 1944 in Passaic NJ, to John and Shirley Brain. He grew up with his brother and sisters, Charles, Barbara, Eileen, Virginia and Elizabeth.

In his 76 years he met the love of his life Patricia. They fell in love in New Jersey after meeting on a blind date. Within the 57 years together, they were married and raised two wonderfully strong children, Debbie and David Jr. As a family they loved to travel and take long road trips. Being a kind and dependable husband and father was of utmost importance to Dave and he certainly did not disappoint when it came to wholeheartedly loving his family.

Dave served his country for over 24 years with two tours in Vietnam. He retired from Ft. Meade as a Major. After his military career Dave became an entrepreneur and started many businesses.

He was also a Past Master of the Glen Burnie Masonic Lodge 213.

Dave was an active member of the Old Glory Harley Davidson chapter. He became Activities Director, Assistant Director, Chapter Director and Road Captain.

In addition to Patricia and Debbie and David Jr. Dave is survived by his three grand children, Matthew, Kristen and Grant, also his three Great Grandchildren Miles, Tristan and Link. He is also survived by his brother Charles, and sisters, Barbara, Eileen, Virginia and Elizabeth.

He was preceded in passing by his daughter Kathleen Faith and his parents John and Shirley.

Family and Friends may visit on Sunday August 22, 2021 from 2:00pm-4:00pm & 6:00pm-8:00pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A. 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146.

Interment will be held at the Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday November 4, 2021 at 3:00pm
