On Thursday May 19, 2022, Daniel (Uncle Dude) Levin, loving husband and father passed away at the age of 59 after an incredibly long and valiantly fought battle to regain his health.

Dan was the second of six children born to Mary Ellen (née Breheny) and Tom. He grew up in upstate New York and had great stories about his horse Snowball, pet cows initially intended to be dinner, and a dog named Moo. In 1996 Dan married Katherine Ann Prucnal and they have two beautiful and strong girls Jojo and Rosie.

Socializing was Dan's super power; he was the unofficial mayor of every place he frequented. Dan was a master in the kitchen and fed well his family and loved ones in addition to anyone else who crossed his path in need. He loved the New York Giants, boating, fishing and toting his beloved daughters to their various activities. He was recognized far and wide for his boisterous support of his girls from sports fields to theatre seats, social niceties notwithstanding.

Dan was preceded in death by his father, Tom, and his mother, Mary Ellen as well as his sisters Anne and Eileen and his much loved brother in law Matt.

He is survived by his wife and girls as well as siblings Tom (Carol), Mari, and Brian (Endy), in addition to more cousins than can reasonably be counted, and 14 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to University of Maryland Medical Center or the Living Legacy Foundation of Maryland.

Family and Friends may visit on Tuesday May 24, 2022 from 5:00pm-9:00pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A. 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. Services will be held on Wednesday May 25, 2022 at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel.
