Daniel “Danny” Charles Bush Jr passed away on September 29, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. To know Danny was to love him.

Danny was born on December 17, 1978 to Linda and Daniel Bush Sr. in Baltimore, Maryland. He grew up in Glen Burnie, Maryland and graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1996. He played the drums in the high school band and went on to also play the drums in the Ravens Marching Band.

Danny was an extremely devoted husband and father, who adored his wife and children. He loved just being with them and sharing experiences with them that he could use as a learning tool. Every thought in his analytical mind was based around their best interests.

He also treasured his extended family and friends deeply, and loved to make people laugh. He was an avid Ravens fan, and loved to spend time on his boat crabbing and fishing.

Danny worked as an automatic door technician for over 25 years, a trade he was extremely gifted at, and was constantly called upon to answer questions or provide solutions to other techs.

He is survived by his wife of almost 17 years, Shawna; his children Rachel and Danny; his parents, Linda and Dan; his sister Jessica (Will); his grandfather Jack; his mother-in-law Sharon; his sisters-in-law Stephanie (Troy) and Shannon (Brian); his nieces and nephews Zachary, Holly, Heather, Ian, Erin, Trevor, and Chase.

Danny will be sorely missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Kurtz Beach, 2070 Kurtz Avenue, Pasadena, Maryland 21122 on Thursday, October 15, 2026 from 4-7pm.
