Cynthia L. Turner (nee Moore), 59, a resident of Stevensville, MD, died suddenly on March 11, 2010 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, after a 2 month illness of cancer.

She was born on October 11, 1950 in Cincinnati, OH, raised in Concordville, PA and graduated from Garnet Valley High School in 1968. Cynthia attended Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA and the University of Delaware in Newark, DE. She previously lived in Glen Burnie, MD before residing in Stevensville, MD.

Mrs. Turner was a BSN for Johns Hopkins Hospital, a case manager for Hospice of Queen Anne's, and was the triage nurse for Hospice of the Chesapeake.

She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Stevensville and St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Glen Burnie. Cynthia enjoyed baking and loved horses and dogs. She loved spending her time with her family and taking care of others.

She was preceded in death by her late parents, Charles and Betty Moore.

Survivors include her husband, William D. Turner of Stevensville, MD; daughters, Amanda K. Turner of Annapolis, MD and Alyssa M. Turner of Stevensville, MD; brother, James A. Moore of Glen Mills, PA; and sister, Melissa A. Willcox of Westtown, PA.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, March 19, 2010 from 4-7 PM and Saturday, March 20, 2010 from 10-11 AM at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Gov. Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 20th at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
