Cynthia passed away peacefully at home in Baltimore, MD, on May 22, 2025. She was born on September 26, 1966 in Columbus, Ohio to James Bruce Morgan and Peggy Joyce Tindol.

Cynthia, lovingly known as "Cindy," spent most of her childhood in Florham Park, NJ, where she developed a lifelong love of figure skating and competed in local tournaments. In the late 70's she moved to Severna Park Maryland. Her family were members of Chartwell Golf and Country Club where she spent her summers on the swim and tennis teams, while continuing her love of figure skating  competing at Benfield Ice Rink. Cindy was very musically inclined and played many instruments throughout her life to include the piano, flute, piccolo, cello and oboe. She graduated from Severna Park High School in 1984, where she participated in the marching band and symphonic orchestra. She later attended the University of Maryland and Vanderbilt University.

After college, Cindy joined her family's business, P.T. Morgan Packaging Company in Arnold, MD. Over the years, she held many roles but ultimately found her niche in sales. With natural charisma and determination, she flourished in the NY/NJ market, selling packaging and paper products to luxury retailers to include Saks Fifth Avenue, Sephora, and LVMH.

Cindy's maternal grandparents were from Alabama where she spent every summer visiting their farm and working at their country store.  She also treasured her annual family trips to Destin, FL. Her father was a graduate of West Point so it was a family ritual to cheer on the Army football team at the Army Navy game!

Her proudest accomplishments and greatest joy in life are her two children, Samuel Patrick Truffer of Charleston, SC, and Caroline Elizabeth Morgan Moss of Annapolis, MD. She always took great pride in being "Fun Mom." When the kids were young she got so much joy out of taking her family on magical, one-of-a-kind vacations, getting her family to the beach as much as possible- she loved to brag about having Caroline in the Caribbean Sea at just 7 days old!

As an Annapolis mom, she got Sam into Lacrosse as soon as she could, as well as putting Caroline in Ballet and Figure Skating from a very young age. Some of Caroline and Sam's fondest memories with their mom in early childhood were singing and dancing while cooking with their mother. Cindy had a remarkable talent for making everyday moments feel like celebrations. She had a way of making any holiday or special occasion feel like it does in the movies; her creativity and passion for her children was truly evident every birthday, Christmas, and Thanksgiving, as she always put her personal charm into the event. As her children got older she cherished her relationships with both of her kids, sharing a level of closeness and openness that is beautiful and rare.

She is survived by her loving sisters, Deborah Sanders (Troy, AL) and Marianne Morgan Persico (Severna Park, MD); her nephews, Morgan Sanders, Austin Persico, and Brice Persico; and many cherished Morgan cousins.

Cindy will be remembered as the life of every party, always wearing her signature smile and string of pearls. She had an infectious spirit, lighting up any room she walked into, jumping at any chance to dance to "Sweet Caroline"  or "September" by Earth Wind and Fire.

Her light, laughter, and most importantly, her love will be missed deeply by all who knew her.

Family and friends may visit on Sunday, June 1, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm.
