Constance W. Jones, 90, a resident of Arnold, died on February 12, 2012 at FutureCare Chesapeake in Arnold.
She was born on June 29, 1921 in Kensington, MD and raised in Gaithersburg.
Constance worked for the Howard County Board of Education until her retirement in 1986. She loved to read.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Jones.
She is survived by her children, J. Michael Jones (Sally) of Union Bridge, MD and Linda Rice of Arnold; her grandchildren, Gregg Rice (Danielle) of Pasadena and Carolyn Lee Jones of Arnold; and great-grandchildren, Preston Rice, Isabelle Everhart, and Gabrielle Everhart.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 11:00 am at Galilee Lutheran Church, 4652 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
