Conrad Raymond Graeber Jr., 82, of Roland Park for three years and previously of Severna Park for over 20 years, died of complications of Parkinson's disease Jan. 13 at Roland Park Place in Baltimore.

Mr. Graeber was born and raised in Shamokin, Pa. He received his degree in chemical engineering from Lehigh University.

He worked for Dupont, FMC and, prior to his retirement in 1989, SCM where he traveled throughout the world as a buyer of minerals.

He served as a medic in World War II.

He enjoyed fishing, travel and photography. After retiring, he traveled extensively with his wife and occasionally with his son's family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Anne Graeber (nee Britt), who died in 2005.

Survivors include one son, Conrad Raymond Graeber III of Baltimore; two grandchildren, James Conrad and Elizabeth Diggs Graeber of Baltimore; and one brother, George Graeber of Philadelpha, Pa.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17 at Severna Park United Methodist Church, 721 Benfield Road.
