Colleen Louise Wood, 54, a resident of Arnold for 16 years, died July 10 at her home after a lengthy illness.

The former Colleen Boyer was born May 13, 1953, and reared in Pittsburgh, Pa., and previously lived in Burke, Va., and Charleston, W.Va. A registered nurse, she received her bachelor of science degree in nursing from West Virginia University School of Nursing in 1974. She was a member of the Anne Arundel Medical Center IV Therapy team and was a home health nurse for patients in the Annapolis area. Mrs. Wood enjoyed sailing and skiing and was an avid tennis player.

Surviving are her husband, Paul Gregory Wood, whom she married on June 1, 1974; two sons, Brian and Sean Wood of Annapolis; her parents, Margaret and William Boyer of Pittsburgh, PA ; and two sisters, Leslie Fluke of Houston, TX and Melissa Thamann of Tabernash, Colo.
