IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Clayton D.
Carter
January 31, 1991 – July 27, 2022
Clayton David Carter, son of Kathleen O'Shea Senecal and David Michael Carter, passed away suddenly on July 27, 2022. Clay was born on January 31, 1991 in Annapolis, MD. He grew up in Anne Arundel County, graduated from Severna Park High School, and after high school attended and received a Bachelor's Degree from East Carolina University. Clay loved life - he spent work time as a bartender and salesman; he traveled extensively abroad and around the U.S. He enjoyed camping, concerts, skateboarding, and was a big fan of the EC Pirates and Baltimore Ravens. All of Clay's downtime centered on having fun and spending time with family and friends typically with his faithful dog, Daizy, in tow. Clay lit up every room he entered across the country with his loving energy and personality, and is loved by many. We, his family, will deeply miss him and love him forever.
Clay's immediate family includes his mother - Kathleen, stepfather - Paul Senecal; father - David, stepmother - Siri Shaw Carter; older brother - Corey, Corey's partner - Chelsea Piper, and their newborn daughter - Zoey. He is also survived by his grandmother, Eileen M. Carter, and a large number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 12 noon to 3 pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A. at 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD, followed by a gathering at the Fleet Reserve Club from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at 100 Compromise Street in Annapolis, MD.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Clay's name to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).
